  • New Competitive Grant Opportunities

The Iowa Energy Center is introducing three new competitive grant opportunities that aim to help Iowa organizations gain external funding to further the environmental, social, and economic well-being of Iowans through improved energy efficiency measures and alternate energy technology:

Competitive grants are offered to Iowa-based nonprofit groups such as universities, colleges, energy organizations, and community-based groups. These grants can be used to support energy research, development, demonstration, deployment, education, and workforce development. They are awarded on a competitive basis based on requests for proposals (RFPs).

We are no longer accepting proposals for the following grant programs:

  • Research and Demonstration Grants
  • Conferences and Events Grants
  • Technology Demonstration and Education Grants

To access current and past grant recipients and reports, please visit our grant and research library. For any other questions regarding our competitive grant program, please contact the Energy Center at 515-294 8819 or email Patty Prouty.
