Monday, April 20, 2015 – Home Water Management Matters
5:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Center on Sustainable Communites (COSC), in partnership with their Builder Advisory Council, will present two evening workshops on critical topics for homeowners to be aware of – Energy and Water Management.

These topics tie directly to COSC’s online resource – Home Matters. The panel of instructors: Dave Hade, Dave Fish, Paris Boehm, Silas Hoeppner, & Bill McAnally are resident experts in their sector of the green building marketplace. They will present an engaging workshop for homeowners to help them take vital steps to ensure the health, safety, efficiency and durability of their existing home.

The Home Energy Matters workshop will focus on: Goals (comfort, savings, energy conservation), pre-inspection, calculations and numbers, various areas of the home, equipment, and post-testing. The Home Water Management Matters workshop will focus on: the causes of water problems, roof, window and door flashing, the foundation, the exterior grade, and collecting water.

$10.00 for COSC Members & $20.00 for Non-members. Dinner & refreshments are included in the fee.
