Background
In response to the ever-increasing global call for sustainability, a number of Roundtables were formed including Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Responsible Soy (RTRS), with the objective of promoting the growth and use of sustainably produced crops.
The feedstocks can be used as a biofuel and also sustainably produced oils to use in everyday food products such as beverages, food, cookies and ice cream as well as in personal care, cosmetics, and cleaning items.
