This four hour course will provide an overview of variable frequency drives (VFDs) commonly used in motor control application on fans, pumps, compressors and other equipment in water treatment and wastewater plants. This course is designed for anyone with a general interest in operating and managing VFDs. Attendees will gain an understanding of how and where VFDs can save energy, improve process control, and where they make operational, energy efficiency and economic sense.

Mr. Stark owns and operates a consulting company offering technical and training services such as electrical industry structure, energy systems and management, and power quality. He also serves as a part-time Lecturer at Texas A&M University.
