What role will solar energy play in the world’s global energy supply, now and in the next 40 years? Dr. Seth Darling will examine this question in a presentation and discussion on the related research taking place at Argonne National Laboratory, our country’s first national laboratory.

Register for this free presentation and learn about the supply and demand outlook of our world’s energy supply, and the promises and challenges of potential energy sources such as solar energy. A Q & A session will follow Dr. Darling’s presentation.

This event is free and open to the public. However, registration is required and can be made online.

This event is presented as part of The Collaborative City, a program of the Illinois Humanities Council, in partnership with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) and co-sponsored by Argonne National Laboratory.
