Conference: Network at COSC Connects– Sustainability Meets Construction
On Tuesday, August 6 from 5-7 PM, the Center on Sustainable Communities (COSC), the ReWall Company, and Confluence Brewing are putting on a free networking event featuring a barbecue and beer, a tour, and installation demonstrations at The ReWall Company’s headquarters (205 East 18th Street) in Des Moines – a manufacturer gaining national attention for its innovation in recycled drink cartons into durable building materials.
Who should attend:
- Community members
- Supply companies
- Other building professionals
COSC will also hold prize drawings for new and recently renewed members of the organization at this event.
COSC connects is an ongoing series that offers attendees opportunities to broaden their perspectives of sustainability and learn about local resources. ReWall is redefining the green home and reducing the environmental impact of the nation’s building industry. The company produces ceiling tiles and wall sheathing that are equivalent to plywood or oriented strand board (OSB) but provide substantial health, economic and environmental advantages.
