Eight guest speakers are on tap for Ag Education Day, a day-long conference hosted by Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation, along with the Ag Committee and area ag-related businesses. The event will feature topics on world trends and implications for the Midwest, the Rock Island Clean Line project, crop nutrients, agricultural outlook, bioenergy and integrating food and fuel production, POET’s Project Liberty, and a legislative update on agriculture and biofuels in today’s economy.

Brochures featuring highlights of the event are available in Algona and Emmetsburg area cooperatives, banks, libraries, implement dealerships, city halls, and ISU Extension Offices.

Time: 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

Wild Rose Casino & Resort Emmetsburg, IowaCost: (all registrations include lunch)
$20 per person through February 28th.
As of March 1st, the registration fee will be $25 per person.
Cost for students is $15.
