Today marks the final day to submit public comment to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) about the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) proposal to reduce the amount of renewable fuels to be blended into gasoline. The new propsoal would reduce the cap on renewable fuel for 2014 to 15.21 billion gallons rather than the originally predicted 18.15 billion gallons. The EPA said the new proposal reflects the current projection of what will be produced in 2014.
