According to the report, the industry slowed during the first half of the year, with only 1.6 MW in wind energy installed in the first quarter and 0 MW during the second. During the third quarter, however, the industry installed 69 MW, increasing the total installed wind capacity to 60,078 MW. Nearly 6,000 MW worth of long-term power purchase agreements have been signed since January, and as of September 30, 2013, 2,327 MW worth of sites were under construction in 13 states.
