Sponsered by EERE’s Wind Program.

3:00 p.m. EDT (1:00 p.m. MDT)

The Department of Energy (DOE) will present a live webinar titled “Establishing Regional Resource Centers to Address Wind Market Barriers” on Thursday, July 25, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Wind Powering America National Technical Director Jonathan Bartlett and Technical Director Ian Baring-Gould will discuss DOE’s plans to develop Regional Resource Centers (RRCs). The RRCs will be the backbone of wind activities that are focused on education and outreach. The goal of establishing regionally-based centers is to address market barriers and leverage opportunities shared across multiple states. Plans to release a request for proposals to establish RRCs during 2013 will also be discussed.

Attend the webinar.
